Frequently Asked Questions about Custom Products and Orders – Shop for Shop

Do you offer a reseller price list?

No. We do not apply special price lists for resellers or agents. All prices shown on our e-store are wholesale prices available to everyone.

Can I place an order without a VAT number?

Yes, you can. We issue invoices using your personal tax code for private customers based in Italy or within the European Union.

How is VAT applied to customers without a VAT number?

Private customers without a VAT number who order from within the European Union are charged 22% Italian VAT according to current EU regulations. Companies based outside Italy with a valid VAT number receive an invoice without Italian VAT (reverse charge) and pay tax in their own country.

Is payment secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through PayPal and certified payment gateways, which ensure high standards of security and data protection.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. You can pay by credit or debit card via PayPal, even if you do not have a PayPal account.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Instalment payments are available through PayPal and Scalapay. The available options are displayed at checkout depending on the order amount and country of purchase.

Do prices include printing?

Yes, printing is included for paper bags, plastic bags and paperboard packaging (including front and back printing, where applicable). For clothing and gadgets, printing must be selected separately depending on the technique and print area.

What is a reprint?

A reprint is a repeat order of the same item with an already-created print plate. In this case, you do not pay for a new print plate, even if you change product colour or print colour, except for special cases noted on the product page.

Can I reuse a print plate for different formats?

In some cases, yes – but only for larger sizes than the one already used. Print plates cannot be reused for offset printing or for CUSTOM series paper bags, as the plate depends on the format, print area and printing technique.

Can I order small quantities?

Yes. Most categories allow small-batch orders, ideal for tests, events or limited productions. Minimum quantities vary by product and are indicated on each product page.

What are the production times?

Standard production time for most products is around 15 working days after artwork approval. At checkout, you can select express production to reduce lead time to around 8 working days. Each product page displays an estimated shipping date.

Does production start immediately after placing the order?

No. Production begins only after payment has been received and the artwork proof has been approved by email. Without approval, the order remains on hold.

What are the delivery times?

Once production is completed, delivery typically takes 24–72 hours within Italy and approximately 3–6 working days to most European countries, depending on the destination and courier conditions.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping has a very competitive cost throughout Europe and is automatically calculated at checkout based on weight, volume and country of destination. Shipping costs are always visible before completing the order.

How do I send my artwork?

You can upload your artwork directly during checkout or send it by email to grafica@shopforshop.it. Vector files (PDF, AI, CDR) with outlined text are preferred. You will always receive a free artwork proof to approve before printing.

How can I request a sample?

For clothing and gadgets, use the “Purchase Sample” button on the product page. For other categories, simply add 1 unit to the cart: the system will calculate the sample cost based on the applicable conditions.

Does printing on dark backgrounds require special attention?

Yes. In flexographic printing, light colours tend to darken on dark backgrounds. For intense or dark paper colours, we recommend hot foil stamping in silver or gold, or metallic inks, to ensure better coverage and readability.

What is the difference between high-density and low-density plastic?

High-density plastic is more rigid and opaque with a “crispy” feel. Low-density plastic is more flexible, glossy and soft to the touch. You can specify your preference in the “Notes” section of the order, if available for that product.

What does the format “26×13×33 cm” mean for a bag?

It refers to: 26 cm width, 13 cm side gusset and 33 cm height. This format standard applies to all paper and plastic bags listed with three measurements.

How do I calculate quantities for plastic bags sold by weight?

For plastic bags sold in kilograms, enter the width, height and gusset. When you select the desired weight, the system automatically shows the corresponding number of pieces.
