Flexographic Printing for Custom Paper and Plastic Bags
Flexographic printing is widely used for the customisation of automatic paper and plastic bags, counter wrapping paper, and adhesive labels. In this process, water-based ink is applied to the surface (paper or plastic) using a flexographic printing system. Due to the nature of water-based inks, colours may appear darker when printed on darker backgrounds, with the exception of metallic inks such as gold and silver.
Important: On paper shoppers, except for the CUSTOM SERIES models, the print area is limited to the front and back panels only, and may be affected by handle attachments and side gussets. For two-colour prints, it is not possible to print two different colours in direct contact with one another. We strongly recommend consulting our team before completing your order to confirm feasibility. This limitation does not apply to CUSTOM SERIES models.

Note: Only the print colour is considered, as shown in the examples above, not the colour of the material (white when printing on white paper, or coloured if the substrate is pre-dyed). In flexographic printing, the print colour must be darker than the surface to ensure visibility. For instance, printing yellow ink on a blue background is not advisable, as the result will be a significantly darker, less legible colour. For dark-coloured substrates (black, navy, burgundy, etc.), we recommend using metallic inks like “gold” or “silver”, which offer better opacity and print definition.
Hot Foil Stamping
Hot foil stamping involves the transfer of a shiny or matte coloured film—referred to as a “foil”—onto any surface using heat and pressure. As the foil is a pigmented film, it maintains its colour regardless of the background, allowing for light-coloured designs (e.g. white) to be clearly printed on dark surfaces (e.g. black).
Important: On paper shoppers, excluding the CUSTOM, ELITE, POP-UP, and LUXURY series, the print area is limited to the front and back panels and may be restricted by handle attachments and side gussets.

Offset Printing
Offset printing is used for the high-quality customisation of ELITE paper bags and die-cut cardboard boxes. This printing technique delivers premium precision and eliminates the limitations of flexographic printing, making it ideal for luxury and corporate branding projects.

Note: In offset printing, white is not considered a print colour but rather a break in the ink application. As such, when printing with negative space, the background colour of the substrate will remain visible (white if using white paper, or the natural substrate colour if otherwise).
Screen Printing
Screen printing is ideal for customising garments, tote bags, paper shoppers, and a wide range of promotional merchandise. The ink used in this process behaves like paint, providing high coverage and allowing for vivid prints even on darker materials without colour distortion.
Important: On paper shoppers, the print area is limited to the front and back panels only and may be affected by the thickness caused by the handles and side gussets.

Pad Printing
Pad printing is primarily used to personalise promotional gadgets. This technique allows for printing on irregular, concave, or convex surfaces of various shapes, as well as flat surfaces. The ink used provides excellent coverage, combining the advantages of screen printing with greater versatility.

Note: In screen, pad, and hot foil printing (unlike offset and flexographic printing), white is considered a print colour. This is due to the high opacity of inks and foils, which allows printing even on dark backgrounds with excellent visibility.
